Top 15 List of More Things I Don’t Know
Since people really seem to enjoy hearing about my ineptitude and all my failures over the past year (as evidenced by my recent post Top 10 of the Many Things I Did Not Learn in 2012), I decided to give my flaws some more thought. Ten was just not enough. I knew there were more, many, many more things about which I was ignorant. I’ve dug deep and have created for you the Top 15 List of More Things I Don’t Know, which when combined with the list of the Top 10 Things I Don’t Know give you a fairly sizable list of 25 things I really know nothing about.
Top 15 List of More Things I Don’t Know
- I don’t know how to create a button or where people go to create buttons or how you get the HTML code to show up under the button once you’ve learned how to create a button.
- I don’t know how to Skype or use the little camera thingy at the top of my computer screen.
- I don’t know what The Cloud is or where one might find it.
- I don’t know where ecards come from or who makes them.
- I don’t know how to insert a footer after each post, or what a jet pack is or how to add fancy stuff to my blog’s side bar or even how to center the captions under a photo.
- I don’t know what Gangnam style actually is.
- I don’t know why Facebook keeps recycling status updates from 12 days ago.
- I don’t know why we can’t all just agree on a single blogging platform. That would make commenting and my life so much easier.
- I don’t know what the Beasts of the Southern Wild was actually about.
- I don’t know when it became a good idea to dress children as mini adults.
- I don’t know why clothes always cost the same despite containing less and less material.
- I don’t know how to delete categories from my blog.
- I don’t know how to get tweets that are actually tweetable to show up in my posts. Have you seen that? It’s crazy. You can actually retweet the tweets that are in the blog post.
- I don’t know how to get my kids to buy into the concept of personal hygiene.
- I don’t know what the hell Kitty (my cat) is thinking.
But 2012 wasn’t all a wash. I DID learn how to create a Facebook fan page all by myself. I’m very proud of that. I also opened a Hootsuite account all on my own, and I have to say I’ve pretty much mastered Twitter, but hat’s where my accomplishments end. You?

I actually learned how to use HTML and coding way more than I ever thought I could, but trust me there as still so many things that I still don’t know and probably will never know, lol!! I could relate to some of your list, especially Facebook recycling posts. So damn annoying, just keep it to new stuff, stop jamming stuff I already read down my throat, lol!!

I can relate to SO many of these! I just spent 2 hours today trying to add a “pin it” button to blogger. I looked at several different tutorials and still couldn’t get it work and then gave up. I’ve never been able to successfully add anything to my template in HTML, lol!

Though it won’t serve you much Stac because you aren’t self-hosted. Self-hosted uses jetpack.
