It’s Tweetpeat Tuesday, and I almost missed it. But I won’t let that happen. I can’t. I owe it to the peoples to be better than that.
This week I thought I’d mix it up a bit and bring you some of the best tweets found anywhere on the web because while I like funny tweets and thoroughly enjoy making fun of my kids, I can’t do it alone. It’s hard being funny all the time. The pressure was mounting to unstable levels when I thought to myself, you know what? There are lots of funny tweets out there. Why not enjoy the range of humor the internet has to offer? And with that I bring you echoVista.
Certainly anyone who believes his dance moves are being challenged needs to defend and protect those moves, and as everyone knows a manpurse will only hamper that effort. So I’m with EchoVista. He gets my vote, and I ask that this November you remember him when you go to the polls.
The next tweet by Your_Boy_Dylan, on closer inspection, is less funny than it is sad social commentary, but Your-Boy does provide wise words to heed upon entering a convenience establishment. Remember them always.
Then there are very funny tweets tossed out as life lines from those toiling away their days under inhumane conditions with twitter as their only means of honest and direct communication with the world. Like this one from the Dizzy Goddesski, FlyteAphrodite.
Which most definitely should be followed up with an email signed as suggested by Parentpains:
I believe only with open and honest communication can we avoid misunderstandings and work to prevent potentially catastrophic problems and major crises down the road. If more people had the courage of the two twits (twitterers) above, to speak up and make themselves heard and understood, the world would be a better, somewhat more functional place.
And, as much as I love reading funny tweets and tweeting funny tweets, every now and then I must say with great regret
Then off I go for an unspecified duration of time, sometimes short, sometimes far too long, forced to deal with the real world before returning at last once more to Twitter.
